My name is Lori Rodriguez. I'm a mother of five who spent twenty-five years as an executive in the tech industry. Being a mom isn’t easy, being a woman in tech isn’t easy. Being both is damn near impossible.
Maya Angelou said, “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” I lived by those words but looking back, I wish I had a playbook to help me build strong coping skills sooner, avoid common pitfalls, and be more intentional in my career earlier.
So, I developed a set of PowHer Tools to help women break through career roadblocks, overcome the loneliness of being an “only,” and find balance in their busy lives while staying true to themselves.
